Fans of Marilyn Monroe flocked to The Hollywood Museum to commemorate the 50th anniversary of her passing on Saturday, August 4, 2012. George Barris, friend and photographer to Marilyn, signed posters, photos, and his book, Marilyn: Her Life in Her Own Words: Marilyn Monroe’s Revealing Last Words and Photographs.
The Hollywood Museum Founder and President, Donelle Dadigan, greeted George and excited fans who came to the museum to see Marilyn: The Exhibit (more info here). ABC World News Tonight, AFP the news hub, the LA Times and more joined the festivities to remember one of Hollywood’s brightest stars.
