HOLLYWOOD, Feb. 17, 2016 – The Hollywood Museum will once again proudly present the annual
“Celebration of Entertainment Awards” exhibit. Visitors to the museum will have an opportunity to see this specially urated exhibit featuring costumes, props, posters and iconic images from current Academy Award® nominated films, plus this year’s awards season winners in film and television shows including Trumbo, The Danish Girl, Peanuts The Movie, Youth, Brooklyn, Inside Out, The Big Short, Straight Outta Compton, Anomalisa and more. Award-winning and popular TV shows on display include Orange is the New Black, The Good Wife, Walking Dead, Ray Donovan, Mad Men, Veep, Transparent, Bessie, Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe, Silcon Valley, Grace and Frankie, The Knick, House of Lies, among others.
The exhibit brings to life scenes from films and TV featuring costumes, props and art, as they appeared in the film/TV shows – and spotlights the magic of movies and television excellence at the height of the awards season.
In addition, The Hollywood Museum will showcase award statuettes from the Oscars®, Golden Globes®, Screen Actors Guild Awards®, People’s Choice Awards®, Independent Spirit Awards®, among others. Also highlighted is a look at red carpet fashions over the years with dresses worn by Marilyn Monroe, Sharon Stone, Cate Blanchett, Lucille Ball, Barbara Stanwyck and more.
The exhibit runs from February 17 through May 1st. The Hollywood Reporter is the media sponsor.
