Get tickets here!

With one of the most extensive and continuously growing Marilyn collections on display,  the legend lives on year-round at The Hollywood Museum!

See personal items and photographs from Marilyn’s childhood through to the end of her life and get a glimpse into the lives and personalities of Norma Jean and Marilyn Monroe.

“This Museum is considered the perfect home for this exhibit since it is actually here where the legendary Max Factor originally designed Marilyn’s on-screen hair and coloring. When you walk into the ‘FOR BLONDES ONLY ROOM,’ you feel Marilyn Monroe’s presence.”   – Donelle Dadigan, President and Founder of The Hollywood Museum

Some of the highlights of our Marilyn collection include:

  • Marilyn Monroe’s million-dollar honeymoon dress, worn on her honeymoon with baseball legend, Joe DiMaggio. This was Marilyn’s favorite gown designed by Ceil Chapman, hand beaded in Marilyn’s signature style. Marilyn wore this gown on numerous occasions including a USO tour to entertain 10,000 troops in Korea in 1954.
  • Marilyn’s pink Pucci blouse made of striking, hot pink silk jersey. Marilyn felt this blouse was too large on her so she gifted it to Joan Greenson Aebi, the daughter of her longtime psychiatrist, Dr. Ralph Greenson.  The label on her Pucci blouse reads “Emilio Pucci / Florence, Italy / 12”, though it appears to be a modern-day Size 6. You can even see sweat marks and minor sweat stains present.
  • Personal wardrobe items including Springolator high heels,  jewelry, and an early cocktail dress she bought at the start of her career.  All of these items give you an intimate look at Marilyn’s true style prior to her big break.
  • Marilyn’s personal make-up bag
  • Her Playboy spread and bustier
  • See award winning costume designer, Don-Ya’s, identical replica of Marilyn’s “Seven Year Itch” dress
  • And much, much more…
